The city is suspending alternate side parking on Monday because of snow cleanup, and the rules were already set to be suspended citywide on Tuesday to mark former President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and on Wednesday because of Ash Wednesday, the DOT said.
Alternate side parking is now set to resume on Thursday.
Parking meter charges remain in effect.
At least Ash Wednesday is a legitimate yom tov for some goyim but “former President” Lincoln’s birthday is no longer even a federal holiday and is celebrated the following week on President’s day.
