Responding to a Japanese request for clarification, a top Israeli envoy told Japan that the comments were “unacceptable” and that the official had been suspended.

Danny Seaman was a government public relations official and posted on Facebook that he was “sick” of “self-righteous” Japanese and international commemorations of Hiroshima and Nagasaki victims. He said those events were the results of “Japanese aggression.”

The comment embarrassed Israel before an international ally.

Israeli diplomatic officials said Thursday that National Security Adviser Yaakov Amidror made the clarifications last week. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the private diplomatic discussions with the media.

The wise and courageous decision by President Truman to use the only two atomic bombs in existence at that time on Japanese targets, shocking their evil rulers to surrender and beg for peace, must be forever celebrated.

And there is no reason for this latest Israeli government’s display of lack of moral clarity.

to # 5 i chose my words carefully and with a lot of intent (to bring out comments like yours)

while i don’t have a recommended reading list
you need to READ up on History somehow
and not rely on (what is now so popular in the media) revisionist history which is helping to destroy any good (& BAD) that America has done for the WORLD

    on a side note
while its still Bitul Zman i truly find popular documentaries to be for the most part accurate and with little or no bias
any they made me regret i ever waited my time and mind & Neshama watching (even the “good”) HollyWeird war /history movies

the Documentaries i am referring to are all (IMO) TOP NOTCH and a breath of fresh air
i have learned more about (the Medos of) the world from these then all of my school education or any other book i read

Battlefield (from 1995 & not the game)
    Battle 360
    Patton 360

just imagine the best HollyWeird has to offer BUT with no actors no women and just informative information that is historical fact
