Brooklyn, NY – In what real estate insiders are calling the “most expensive” single home listing ever in the Brooklyn market, a 23,000 square-foot Mill Basin mansion, owned by Galina Anissimova—the ex-wife of a Russian mineral tycoon—has hit the market with the asking price of $30M.

The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS (http://nydn.us/Hnm5E9) reports that the property boasts a 15,000 square-foot main house, as well as an 8,000 sq.-ft. guest house, along with 257 ft. of Jamaica Bay waterfront footage and a dock capable of accommodating numerous luxury boats.
The broker handling the sale, James Cornell of the Corcoran Group, says his client has perhaps spent in excess of $30M transforming the property which she bought in 1996 for $3M from Brooklyn auto dealer John Rosatti.
“It’s perfect. It’s the highest quality of everything I’ve ever seen in 24 years in the business,” said Cornell, while noting that pricing the property was difficult due to the fact that there are no comparable properties available in Brooklyn.
With a keen interest currently from international buyers looking for New York property, Corcoran believes now is an appropriate time to list the mansion.
“Is it over the top? Maybe for some people,” said Corcoran. “But not for these people, and not for the people we think are going to want this house.”

let’s get some rebbele to build a new dynasty there, great for melava malkas etc.
Is the price negotiable? I’m very interested.
Ostentatious Consumption, just like the other mansions in Brooklyn.
is there a minyen close by?, need to know before i submit my offer
Its a beautiful property but not in a frum neighborhood and obviously at the high end of the market. Its still possible to find a nice home in BP, Willy or Flatbush for less than a million dollars (w/o a swimming pool but closer to a mikvah).
looks more like an apartment building. what private single family home needs four kitchens and 14 bathrooms??
I’m looking for a place to rent. Do you think they would take $2,500 a month?
I’m thinking of buying it. Are there any shuls in the area?
Love to buy it but since Zillow only values it a at $2.685 million by bank won’t hive me a mortgage for the amount I need. Even if Zillow is on the low side a mortgage for over $20 million will be hard to secure. The taxes are quite reasonable at only $28,300 anually. I assume it’s within walking distance of the Mill Basin shuls and with the bay in your backyard as a mikvah, what more could you want.
Right on the water, perfect for the NEXT hurricane!
Can’t afford all the mezuzahs needed.
I would buy it, just doesn’t have a
Run-way for my private plane
No single family house is worth this price hope nobody falls for this build a new one and get it for a fraction

Why is a penthouse in mid Manhattan worth 50 million+?
In Monsey, they would convert this house to a yeshiva for 300 students
Mill Basin is an awesome frum community. There is a lot of achdut here. If you go to a community event here you’ll find women in sheitels and women in pants and Sepharadim and Ashkenazim all together and everyone is friendly to each other and gets along. It’s a laid back live and let live community where you can be as frum (or not frum) as you want without crazy tzniut patrols telling people what to do. Everyone in Mill Basin says Shabbat Shalom or Good Shabbos to others. I used to live in Flatbush and no one ever said Good Shabbos to me there.
Not a frum hood?! There approx 5 shuls in mill basin!
