New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie earlier sailed to a second term. He’s a Republican credited with accomplishments in Democratic-leaning New Jersey.

The election’s ballot initiatives in cities and states nationwide had little to gauge the national mood but the governor’s races were a setback for the tea party.

Alabama’s special congressional GOP runoff was the last such test of the night in the fight between pragmatists and ideologues.

And so the Tea Party strikes again…with another losing hand for the GOP, as usual. Where’s Mark Levin now, and all the others that whine about RINOs and how the GOP only needs to be more hardline conservative in order to win?

Do these morons hate or fear Tea Part candidates so much they’d rather elect an openly corrupt left winger? His scandals and scams are legendary. What happened to common sense? The Kool-Aid is so good? It’s over, people. You will get the leadership you deserve, good luck, I’m going to Israel and I will watch in pity what happens to this once great country. Expect a change in the Constitution so King Messiah Obama will become President for Life.

If I would be a Republican strategist I would be scared by this election results. Can Virginia still be counted as a red state? Was 2008 and 2012 an exception, or the new norm?

#’s 1& 2. Check out the Drudge Report. There is a story that the an Obama bundler financed the campaign of a Libertarian candidate to siphon votes away from the Republicans. That, plus the increase in Hispanic vote swung the close race.

The bottom line, too many Americans just want the government to give them more and don’t care that in the future they will have nothing, because there won’t be anything left. Remember, like the Roman Empire, world powers don’t get defeated, they untimately implode from within and that is where the U.S. is headed.
