In a statement released, Speaker said he looked forward to working with de Blasio as his partner in state government.
De Blasio ran on a liberal, tax-the-rich platform that was sharply at odds with Bloomberg’s pro-business, pro-development record.
This opportunist, who won by default for lack of a competent challenger, is a national disgrace, the same corrupt, lying, greedy and evil ilk as Obama.
zol er hoben a misa meshune
i take back that last part that i wrote.
may Hashem have mercy on us from these corrupt and greedy politicians.
Silver knows he’s in trouble. He’s trying to hitch his wagon to DeBlasio’s star! Eich noflu hagiboirim.
The reality is its a lose for
1) Frum yidden on Metziz bpeh
2) Private school vouchers
3) anyone making over $50,000 as their taxes will tise unde rthis communisits nuty ” Progressive” ideas
4) NYC budget because he will jsut spend & spend &spend;. He is already promising to back pay to unions for no raises in five years. And who of us got raises in a recesioon why should unions? Bernankie keeps saying how infaltion is too low. If inflation is low why do you need a raise.
5)Our streets will seem crime rise dramaticlly. You CANNOT fight crime while respecting civil liberties if its all coming from that group.
I am still waiting for someone to refute my points. Can one of you mishagoyim who voted for this guy explain your rational othe rthan his chirisma and his son Dunta?
Please Sheldon, tells us exactly how this guys election is a ‘a win for New York’s hard working families and children’.
Please, enlighten us mere mortals!
It’s no win- it’s a huge loss! Wait till all those who voted for him realize that “the rich” means them! While it may be tough to make ends meet as a frum yid, we are considered “upper middle class”… He won’t take into account higher food costs for yidden or yeshiva tuition.
Plus, those that can, will leave the city. It’s known- start increasing the taxes and those that can will leave.
For people like speaker silver who can continue to bilk the system with impunity this is wonderful!
A sad day for NYC.
What on earth is that on his head?
There is NO “progress” in progressive! !!!!
