Jerusalem – Netanyahu, Pope To Meet Next Week In Rome

    Israel Hayom reports (http://bit.ly/194CRhQ) that Netanyahu is expected to officially invite Pope Francis to come to Israel.

    The meeting is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen Israel’s ties with Europe. The two leaders will also discuss the Iranian nuclear program and the Israeli-Palestinian peace development.

    Pope Francis has said he would like to visit Israel during the first half of 2014.
