Brooklyn, NY – The 11 year-old son of Menachem Stark was robbed at knife-point in Williamsburg Monday evening by three teenaged hoodlums who threatened to kill him before making off with his bicycle.

NYPOST.com (http://bit.ly/1sP6u0a) reports that the three teens accosted Abraham Stark near Lorimer and Union Streets around 7 p.m. Monday.
According to sources, the teens demanded Abraham’s bike while one pulled a knife and another shouted, “Kill him!”
Nearby pedestrians who witnessed the mugging began screaming for help as the trio took the bike and made their getaway.
Police said Abraham was uninjured and that his bike was located on a nearby street a short time later.
Police are still looking for the three teens.
Sources tell VIN News its the 3rd similar incident in the same area.

This is going on for a while now! ASK hatzolah how many kids they treat daily for injuries that kids get while being thrown of bikes. When you call the police they show up after 30 min and then they don’t make report’s. This has to stop we need more protection. You hardly see any police cars in our neighborhood. We need more police we need to stop this hoodlums from attacking our kids. Maybe we should go back to good old chaptzems
Poor kid! This kid needs intensive trauma therapy after losing his father in such a tragic way, then his own life being threatened. I hope someone in his family or community, will have the brains to get him the therapy he desperately needs…

My heart goes out to the child for going through this trauma on top of everything else he has to endure. While it’s important for police to ticket tinted windows since it is dangerous when you cannot see who is inside and ticketing and other such seemingly nonsensical things, these are OUR children!!!! The police need to look out for children–no matter what religion, color or nationality. Children are our most important assets and therefore they have to be the police’s most important asset.
