Brooklyn, NY – Two Jewish men have been charged with a hate crime following a Saturday night attack in Crown Heights during which they punched a black off duty auxiliary police officer while screaming racial obscenities as he was walking his dog.

NYPOST.com (http://bit.ly/1qylYHp) reports that according to the criminal complaint, 21 year-old Samuel Brendler and 22 year-old Ahrone Koskase attacked 56 year-Dieuphene Hyppolite, pelting him with garbage cans while repeatedly punching him about the face and body, all the while peppering him with racial slurs.
Hyppolite, who works as auxiliary cop out of the 71st precinct, said the pair appeared to be drunk.
Brendler and Koskase were held on $5,000 bail following their arraignment on the felony charge of assault as a hate crime.

I wonder if all the blacks that beat up on the Jewish kids also get held on $5000 bail and are charged with assault as a hate crime. More than likely, they are driven around the corner and released.

But while countless of hate crimes – including a fatal shooting – have gone totally uninvestigated and unpunished in CH over the last few years, this one though will definitely get the full resources of the entire 71st precinct….
The book should be thrown at those two pieces of garbage! If we don’t stand for hate crimes against Yidden, then Yidden should not stand for hate crimes against other ethnic groups!
Every Shabbos I see dozens of drunk kids leaving shuls. It’s disgraceful and no one seems to care when the boys cross the streets without looking or cross in the middle of heavy traffic.
They were idiots and should pay for it.
over the last couple of weeks their have been a number of violent attacks perpetrated by African Americans on jews in crown heights, ATTACKS not muggings,in one case yelling anti semitic slurs while attacking a jewish woman.
yet the local media remained silent,BUT when the perps a Jew every one comes out of the woodwork, all of a sudden there is an outrage.
a little less then a year ago when the knockout incidents started happening, none of the perps that were caught were charged for a hate crime and many given very lenient charges (in the crown heights incidents),yet in this case they throw the book at him, still wondering if their is equal justice.
btw in one of the current incidents the perp was chased by shomrim and caught but the cops let him go NO CHARGES NADA.
