Obama says he discussed the grand jury’s decision Wednesday with Attorney General Eric Holder. While not commenting on the decision specifically, he said there are “too many instances where people just do not have confidence that folks are being treated fairly.”

Obama says police have to deal with crime every day, but says they can do their jobs better if people have confidence in the law enforcement system.

This President is an embarrassment is there nothing else important for him to focus on?????? When the three teenagers were kidnaped in Israel and the day they found the boys who by the way one of them was an American, Obama spoke and he didn’t mention one work about the teenagers and now after an outlaw is killed by the Police it is sad but he is putting so much time into something that is not his place to criticize. Any rational person realizes that the President shouldn’t be criticizing the Police and the Grand Jury!!! This is how the legal system in America works if he doesn’t like it he can quit his job and move in with Al Sharpton….

What about confidence in the justice system? There are many problems with the justice system in the US, such as the murderer of Rabbi Kahane being acquitted, the excessive sentence given to Rabbi Shalom Rubashkin, etc.
With the Garner case, the problem was more of what the jury was expected to judge the police officer for and with the Ferguson case, the problem was more about the testimony of witnesses. The problem with a lot of cases involving people of color is that the cases are presented in the newspapers without all the evidence which colors people’s perceptions.
