The four were driving from London to visit Rabbi Eliezer Berland, rosh yeshiva of the Shuvu Bonim in Jerusalem, who is currently living in Amsterdam after fleeing Israel.

Israeli web sites have identified the two fatalities as 15 year old Nossin Drok from Bnei Brak, and 20 year old Shmuel Meir Langleben from Jerusalem.

According to Dutch news site Dichtbij, authorities have yet to determine why the vehicle hit a light pole before crashing into a tree near Broek in Waterland on the N247 roadway, approximately 7 miles outside of Amsterdam.

Emergency rescuers had to cut open the vehicle to free the two injured occupants of the vehicle, who were transported to the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam.

    Two very special and great Bochurim! one 15 the other 20 ת נ צ ב ה

HASHEM please! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH perhaps we can start Davening before Sof Zman Tefilah? Say Kerias Shema before the Sof Zman? Daven with Kavanah, improve our Middos and our Tznius, and what ever else you would like to add to this wake up list…

No Jokes. Rebbetzin Bashi Twersky Telit”a also spoke in Lakewood about us improving our Tznius. I’m sure that if we perfect our Tznius things will be much better and calmer for us, and than maybe Moshiach will come, but as long ad we don’t dress according to the codes of Tznius the way the Shulchan Aruch defines Tznius (and not according to so some Ravs imagination) Moshiach can not come yet.

It’s called theodicy when men try to figure out why bad things happen. All discussion of tzniut and davening before zman are annoying and in bad taste. Learn from Aharon Hakohen when tragedy struck. “V’yidom Aharon”. And Aharon was silent. Time for big mouths to learn from him.

to #1 , perhaps this accident had nothing to do with tznius. could it be that maybe, just maybe, whoever was driving, was either intoxicated or speeding or both? You cannot keep blaming every single tragedy on how people interpret tznius.

why the bashing etc? of course we cannot know why Hashem does things but increasing in a mitzva can only do good. either it will bring us more protection or it will be liluy nishmas these two special neshomos. evry hachloto toiva, every mitsva can only do good!!

I am also tired of it always being a tznius issue, personally I think that maybe Hashem didn’t want them to visit burland who ran because he was accused of molestation. Or perhaps it is the men who are not being careful enough with shmiras einayim and not talking in shul!

Who coined the abbreviation ‘telit”a? Do we say ‘Y’lit”a for men? It’s sheyichye for males and shetichye for females. They both start with “she”, and go straight to the lamed. For men: Sheyichye L’orech Yomim Tovim Amen. For women: Shetichye L’orech Yomim Tovim Amen. It’s shlita for both. get it?
