The protesters were mostly peaceful Tuesday night. They chanted “I can’t breathe” and held signs saying “Jail Killer Cops.”

New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said it was unfortunate that some protesters wouldn’t hold off on new demonstrations.

Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were ambushed Saturday by Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who later killed himself. He was angry over the failure to indict white police officers accused of killing unarmed black men.

Earlier Tuesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio (duh BLAH’ zee oh) led a moment of silence for the men at City Hall.

Maybe New York should have something called the Blue Flu that they had many years again, and see how New York can survive with a few police at hand and see how the citizens of New York take over the policing of their own city. It would be interesting to see.

The police should do a silent slowdown in black neighborhoods. If they can’t stand the cops, perhaps the cops shouldn’t be working in their neighborhoods,
