“Members of my conference have confidence in me, and I don’t think it’s appropriate to comment on this matter,” said Silver, according to the New York Post (http://bit.ly/1xAPWBa).

Silver said New York State is doing better than it has in the past and that “we’re better off now than we were four years ago.”
