The mayor will meet with French officials and members of the Jewish community. He will also lay a wreath at the site of the Charlie Hebdo offices with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
The three days of terror attacks that began Jan. 7 in Paris left 17 victims and three gunmen dead.
De Blasio will return to New York on Tuesday night.
Maybe he can stop off in Havana with Cuomo on the way to express solidarity with those who released Alan Gross, and then do a trip to Italy to visit the mishpacha and then fly over to EY to have a photo op with some chashuve rabbonim and Israeli politicians. How much do these trips cost NYC taxpayers??
Maybe he can tick off the French police, too.
I have no objection to his Honor, the Mayor, going to France, as long as he pays for the trip, himself. It is not only the Mayor who is going, but also his bodyguards, and other staff members. He just sent a contingent of the NYPD to France. This is indeed a waste of the taxpayer’s money. These politicians have no shame, when it comes to wasting the taxpayer’s hard earned money.
to #1 We were wondering that as well! Who is paying for this trip?
If you think he is paying for it himself… Think again….
If he wanted vacation he would go to Venice not Paris
