London – British police arrested six men after they tried to force their way into a synagogue in Stamford Hill in north London in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The gang was seen damaging property and shouting abuse in video footage posted on YouTube.
Police said one worshipper sustained minor facial injuries when he tried to prevent the group entering the building.
“The incident is being treated as an anti-Semitic incident, due to remarks made by one of the group,” London’s Metropolitan police said in a statement.
“However, there is nothing to suggest it was a planned or targeted attack.”
Police said the men involved were drunk, and they were believed to have walked to the area from a house party nearby.
They said they would step up patrols to provide reassurance to the local community.
Stamford Hill is home to one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities in Europe, with about 30,000 Hasidic Jews living in the area.
London resident Shimmy Gold, who was in the synagogue at the time of the attack said that he would hesitate to call the attack anti-Semitic.
“It looked more like an anti-socialist attack,” Gold told VIN News.
“There was a party next door and they came out of the blue and attacked the shul,” said Gold. “they were throwing things and it was chaos for the first few minutes, but it looked like they were just drunken people who were high.”
This sort of stupid behavior is an argument for the Second Amendment. Hard to imagine this happening at a Texas synagogue.
When will the Jews of Europe realize that the situation in all of Europe is extremely dire? Europe has allowed thousands of Moslems to live in these countries, adding to the already there anti semitism of Europe of 2000 years. After the terrible destruction of European Jewry , all Jews should have left for the Holy Land.
The same thing used to happen in the Shuls of the shtetls before the Holocaust. Local peasants would get drunk and attack people in shul.

There should either be a heavily armed hired guard on duty at every shul and jewish institution or an armed citizens patrol at all hours these institutions are open

To all you second amendment fundamentalists: What would have happened if the attackers were armed? At a Texas synagogue, both sides would have been firing.
for all of the anti gun comments….had they had weapons and had begun shooting…with no weapons to defend the shul occupants how many could have tragically been hurts. it is with this understanding that the comments are made. it is unfortunate that we aren’t all armed; had the attackers had weapons we could have defended ourselves, had they not had weapons they would have turned on their heels and backed off. sounds simplistic reasoning to me..
