In the March 16 meeting, Assistant Dean for Students Joseph Scaffido is captured on Project Veritas’ (http://bit.ly/1EG9iCr) hidden camera advising the journalist on how to start the club, and also how to get the funding to send care packages to ISIS and Hamas

When the undercover Project Veritas journalist says the club would also support Hamas in addition to ISIS, Scaffido says, “the University [Cornell] is not going to look at different groups and say you are not allowed to support that group. Because we don’t believe in them or something like that. I think it’s just the opposite. I think the University wants the entire community to understand what’s going on in all parts of the world.”

When the journalist asks Scaffido “maybe we can bring a freedom fighter to come and do like a training camp for students,” Scaffido responds, “You’d be allowed to do something like that. It’s just like bringing in a coach, to do a training on a sports team or something.”

“I was chilled and saddened by Dean Scaffido’s reaction and his position on the pro-ISIS club,” said James O’Keefe, president of Project Veritas. “At the very best Scaffido’s attitude towards the proposed club is complacent and irresponsible, at the very worst he genuinely and willingly supports those sympathetic to ISIS freedom fighters, or more aptly stated: terrorists.”

In case some of you don’t know who James O’Keefe is, he is a lying manipulator and convicted criminal who starts with an agenda and then manufactures “films” to support it. He selectively edits films to distort what was really said, is more than willing to break the law, such as dressing up as a telephone repair man and attempting to access a Senator’s phone system, which resulted in a criminal conviction. He is best known for his ACORN films, which an investigation by the California Attorney General found were highly doctored. ACORN was eventually cleared of each and every allegation made against it, though this occurred after it had been defunded and destroyed. O’Keefe had to pay $100,000 and apologize to someone he had wronged during this incident. The man gives the term garbage a bad name and I would certainly wait for an impartial investigation before believing that this film says anything close to what is alleged.

Would the Dean volunteer to put his neck on the line (literally)for a demonstrative video of an ISIS club? Typical academic obtuseness about real world issues – it would be interesting to note his reaction to a budget cut in his department.

I can grasp (maybe not tolerate) campuses encouraging the freedom of thought. Thus exploring other philosophies etc. might actually make some sense. But neither Hamas nor ISIS nor any other form of radical Islam are ideologies. They are nothing more than criminal gangs. Their talk about religion is a diversion. Trouble is that our dear president and the rest of the goons he has brought into the administration believe in all this junk as if it is true academia. They all lack the conscience and morality to realize that we are dealing with organized crime, not issues of religious freedom. This is the issue with democracy, which is a wonderful concept. But tzaddikim of yesteryear who were apprised of the democratic government that was forming in what is the United States were quite apprehensive. They feared that this would become “progressive”, “permissive”, and feed an “anything that goes” mentality. We now have all forms of perversion legalized and treated with dignity, while anything spiritual is trashed.

Today’s clergy are obligated by law to perform SSM’s, while the Pledge of Allegiance or Ten Commandments are banned. Does this make sense to anyone?
