The driver of the shuttle bus at 80th Street and Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park was recorded looking down multiple times throughout the entire ride while reading, using a marker to highlight pages and not using his hands to steer.
The woman who recorded the driver said he looked distracted the entire time she was on the shuttle, which was about 10 minutes and four stops.
The MTA did not disclose the driver’s name.
The story was first reported by the New York Post (http://bit.ly/1blrN8k)
Silly yenta. I hope the woman who recorded this loses her job when someone snitches on her for doing nothing.
We need monitoring camera of the drivers
