The Washington Post, after being alerted by a reader, tested the claim and found that if a user enters a search for “N***** king,” Google Maps zooms to the White House, reports The Newspaper (http://wapo.st/1cOMd9S).

They also tested the claim that you get the same result if the search term “n***a house” is entered.

A Google spokesperson says they are working to fix the issue immediately, and have suspended editing abilities on Google Maps Maker. Google said they will provide updates by May 27.

Last month, the White House had also been tagged as the “lair” of former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. Just weeks later, an Easter egg in Google Maps showed Google’s Android urinating on the Apple logo in Pakistan.
