Washington – GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump says he can’t recall specifics of insulting women, though news reports paint a long history of him comparing women to animals.

Trump said Friday he doesn’t recognize the words Fox News’s Megyn Kelly used during a debate on Thursday. Kelly asked about him having called women “fat pigs,” ”dogs,” ”slobs,” and “disgusting animals.”
Trump joked that he was only referring to talk show host Rosie O’Donnell but didn’t deny having used the insults. “I don’t frankly have time for total political correctness,” Trump said during the debate.
The issue is important because women are a majority of registered voters.
On Friday, Trump questioned whether he actually used those insults.
“You know, some of the statements she made about the women, I don’t recognize those words whatsoever,” Trump said on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” ”We’re going to take a very serious look at it.”
He said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” ”Not that I’m an angel, by the way. But I don’t recognize those words, so you know, she was spewing out these words, and I’m sitting there. … We’re going to have it checked out.”
In fact, news outlets have reported on the incidents Kelly mentioned.
—Trump wrote New York Times columnist Gail Collins that she had the “face of a dog,” the columnist wrote in 2011.
—Trump called a lawyer “disgusting” when she wanted a break to pump milk for her baby, The New York Times reported last month.
—Trump called talk show host Rosie O’Donnell a “fat pig,” a “slob” and an “animal,” according to several published reports.
Kelly also mentioned that Trump had once told a contestant on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees.
Just because he is a mean egomaniac doesn’t make him a sexist. If he threw those same insults at men he would just be called a mean egomaniac. There’s nothing inherently sexist about any of those rude remarks, but the context of one of them is questionable. I’m not a fan of his anyway though.
Hip Hip Horray. Trump wants to burn out his own ballgame.
The idea of his consortation of hate for some select women is so arrogant that even the Taj Mahal Casino wants to cover up its bad mention.
Disgusting.
Am I the only one who feels juvenile listening to this guy. I am a dyed in the wool conservative republican, however this guy makes my skin crawl.
His allure to voters is that he is not “same old same old” political correctness and not a well scripted regurgitation of policies. Whereas this is indeed refreshing and clearly makes him stand out from the rest of the stuffed shirts, it will eventually wear thin. Americans ultimately will not vote for a buffoon.
Donald Chump. The gift that keeps on giving. Right Wingers are the most naive fools in the history of mankind. Can’t wait till this clown bolts and runs as an independant, all but ensuring a Hillary victory.
I wonder why ppl are still listening to him. To me he looks like he has bad memory or he’s a two facer. Or whatever. On all the pictures of him all I see is an angry, bitter face. His eyes shows hate in everything. Who wants to be in his dalt amas?
Omg, just by the looks of him makes me p…….., i wouldn’t want to meet the person in a dark alliway,
In today’s day & age, “social media” wins out over all else. Hillary managed to get into the Republican big night by getting Kim Kardashian to endorse her.
The best candidate won’t win. The “social media” biggest attention garnerer will. Republicans don’t even have the “social media” on their sight scopes. They overlooked it at last 2 elections and lost to the social media favorites. True, intellectuals aren’t on social media inbthe first place, only Hollywood stars are, and that’s where today’s young voters turn to for opinions.
If he had stupid answers it was because the questions were stupid.
Consider and have te moderators ask for his policy statements on immigration, government waste. negotiating with an enemy, economic growth ….
