New York, NY – New York Senator Chuck Schumer stepped across the aisle on Thursday and offered some rare praise for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, crediting the business mogul with causing a temporary end to partisan gridlock in congress which allowed the 2016 budget to be passed.

NYDAILYNEWS.com (http://nydn.us/1ORD1gC) reports that Schumer (D-NY) said Trump’s populist views have caused a split among working-class Republicans and the ultra-wealthy, thus allowing more moderate members of the GOP to operate more freely apart from their hard-right colleagues.
Schumer said that because the “hard right” is split over Trump’s views and “too busy fighting with each other,” it has allowed more moderate Republican members of congress to “negotiate in ways they haven’t been able to in the past.”
“The hard right split and (it was) caused by one word — ‘Trump,” Schumer said.
Senator, please.
You commend someone for good outcomes if they have good intentions & behave responsibly.
Maybe we should thank the 9/11 terrorists for uniting America.
The Senator is too kind with his praise .
How about Mr Schmuer endorse Mr Trump for president?
