Israel issued a tender for the 42 homes in the Kyriat Arba settlement on Wednesday. Israel announced that it was pressing ahead with the construction following the deadly stabbing by a Palestinian of a 13-year-old Israeli girl in the settlement last week.
The tender comes a day after an Israeli official said Israel has authorized construction of hundreds of new homes in Jewish settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
The government has presented the new construction as a response to a series of deadly Palestinian attacks against Jewish settlers. The Palestinians have long viewed settlement construction as the biggest obstacle to the stalled peace process.
Chazak v’ematz
Kiryat Arba – the place where אברהם אבינו purchased land and buried his wife, Sarah. What is with you terming it ‘a settlement’? What is with you referring to ‘the west bank’. Don’t you mean יהודה ושומרון? This Land belongs to בני ישראל. Why do you use terms inflicted upon us by Transjordan when they annexed and occupied this land in 1950? You need to change that wording.
Good move. Kiryat Arba is much safer than jerusalim proper as it’s secure with fences and personal. In contrast yerushalim borders tons of arba neighboorhoods with no wall in place. Of course as we saw last week nebach nothing is fool proof. But either way we live amoung snakes till moshiach comes. So why not build and teach them a lesson or two while we are at it.
The Zionists also should get rid of the 100,000 Christian Ertireans that took over South Tel Aviv and made shuls into churches and disco clubs, all funded by Soros and the EU.
What a wonderful idea, every time a Jew is killed C”V (may this never happen), 100 homes should be built in the so-called occupied territories, maybe, just maybe then these blood thirsty animals will think twice before repeating such atrocities.
