Bedminster, NJ – President Donald Trump is insisting his support is stronger than ever, despite a report that some Republicans are weighing a 2020 presidential run without him.

In a flurry of early morning tweets Monday, Trump says “the Trump base far bigger & stronger than ever before (despite some phony Fake News polling).” He specifically criticized the “failing @nytimes.” The New York Times detailed efforts by some Republicans looking ahead to 2020, including Vice President Mike Pence. Pence called the report false.
Trump also tweets that he is “working hard” from his private golf club in central New Jersey, while the White House heating and cooling system is repaired, and plans to head to New York next week for “more meetings.” He also reiterated personal attacks on Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal.

Trump has actually lost support in his base, among college educated whites. He lives in a fantasy land, if he thinks that he can pull off the same win, the next time around. When he goes on vacation, he surrounds himself with Ivanka and Jared, who are afraid to confront or correct him. He hates the job, and only likes the glory of the various ceremonies. Three things may occur in 2020; he may choose not to run for reelection; he may not be renominated; or, he may run and lose.

Even his goose-stepping base realizes how ineffective the Orange Yutz is. Drudge regularly posts anti-Trumpf articles and Levin and Savage have criticized him lately. The Breitbart commenters also express their frustration. He’s not invinceable in 2018, or 2020…

Yes, Trumps base is stronger now, but smaller than it was in November. He’s lost many of the non alt right Republicans and now has only the likes of Alex Jones, Hannity, Fallwell, Jeanine Piro. So far there are no significant accomplishments other than daily irresponsible tweets. Once the coal miners see that he’s not bringing coal back he’ll even lose the miners votes.
