Washington – President Donald Trump’s repeated clapping throughout his first State of the Union drew reactions from amusement to derision on social media.

Trump’s applause during Tuesday night’s address was audible over and over again as cameras cut away from the president and showed lawmakers and others offering varied levels of approval to his remarks.
Twitter users posted videos of Trump clapping for himself, with some noting that it became an annoying distraction. Others chimed in to question why the president would keep clapping for himself.
In the House chamber itself in Washington, majority Republicans led multiple rounds of enthusiastic applause during the speech. Democrats, meanwhile, provided a short spurt of polite applause for Trump as he entered the chamber, but offered muted reactions throughout the speech.
At times I think Trump is babeish and a bit much despite my strong support.
But when the AP stoops so low as to print such babiesh articles its even sadder. It reminds me of the big fight that the baby liberal media’s continue to pick on, who had a greater crowd by inauguration. Also sooooo babeish. Like what difference does it make who had a larger crowd. And its worse because the media exclaims maturity. Th media has stooped to a lower level than Trump.

Once again the biased fake news press makes something out of nothing. Contrary to what the article says, anyone with a brain (that seems to exclude the fake news press and the libtards) knows that the president was not applauding ‘for himself,’ he was applauding for whatever issue he was discussing and its importance, and of course he was applauding for those courageous guests in the audience whose stories Mr. Trump told.
If the AP finds this important, one has to wonder why they didn’t also write an article about how Nancy Lugosi (sic) kept licking her mouth and gums over and over….
what do u expect from the left wing phony press? All they’re discussing this morning is NOT the fabulous speech last night, but….you guessed it: the Mueller investigation. How telling. Can’t wait to see what they’ll switch their biased focus on after Trump is fully exonerated on the bogus Russia witch hunt.
I thought he was clapping for what he was saying, like clapping ove good news he was imparting. No big deal. He’s a weirdo so take it any way you want.
As I watched, I thought that Trump was leading applause for the heroes presented as invited guests. But just maybe he was applauding the main stream media going down the drain.
