Paradise, CA – The president of the California firefighters union says President Donald Trump’s threat to withhold federal funds to California is “shameful” and “dangerously wrong.”

In his first comment on the massive wildfires, Trump tweeted Saturday “so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!”
California Professional Firefighters President Brian Rice says the “shameful attack” on California is an attack on the thousands of firefighters on the front lines.
Rice says Trump’s assertion that California’s forest management policies are to blame for catastrophic wildfire is “dangerously wrong.”
He points out wildfires are sparked and spread “by parched vegetation, high winds, low humidity and geography.”
Rice says natural disasters are not red or blue, “they destroy regardless of party.”
Unfortunately Trump is 100% right on this subject, I heard interviews of many form many people who used to mange forests and they all say that the policies of the crazy environMENTALists is responsible for most forest fires.
So the Orange Toxin went to France to commemorate the end of The Great War and go to a US cemetery there. He starts a fight w the French President, doesn’t show up at the cemetery and then criticizes the First Responders risking their lives fighting helacious fires in California! People are dying. Firefighters are working heroically. And the bone spur president can’t keep his mouth shut.
Fake news. There are no forest fires in California. In fact there are no forests in California. There isn’t even a place names California.

I would suppose forest management is one of the many complex subject I know little about. I wonder how the President learned so much about it.
California has had years of drought. Rural reservoir levels are below the levels of the pumps. If Trump believes that the forests are being mismanaged, let his Interior Secretary specify what California is doing incorrectly.
Our country has sent 12 men to the moon, and brought them safely back to earth. Yet, in the 21st century, we still don’t even know how to contain forest fires, before they spread, and kill people.
