Gaza City – In Massive Rally Hamas Chief Says IDF Soldiers Who Enter Gaza Will Be Caught Or Killed

Hamas top leader Sheikh Ismael Haneiya (R) waves to supporters during a Hamas rally to mark the 31st anniversary of the group, in Gaza City, Gaza Strip, 16 December 2018. Hamas was founded in 1987, shortly after the Palestinian Intifada (uprising) broke out against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. EPA-EFE/MOHAMMED SABERGaza City – Hundreds of thousands of Hamas supporters clad in green flooded the streets of Gaza City on Sunday, as the Palestinian terrorist organization marked 31 years since its establishment.

Speaking at the rally, Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh said that the organization’s military wing was on its guard following a botched IDF commando operation in Gaza in November, which triggered days of spiraling tensions, Palestinian rocket fire and Israeli airstrikes before an internationally brokered truce took hold.

He warned that any Israeli troops who entered Gaza in future faced death or captivity.

“The entry and exit points of the IDF special force that infiltrated Gaza, are known to the (Hamas) military wing, as well as the times of entry and exit,” Haniyeh said. “Any IDF soldier who attempts to enter Gaza will be killed or caught.”

Haniyeh also vowed to free Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. The Jewish state is currently holding more than 5,000 Palestinians in detention, most from the West Bank.

“The masses participating in the rally today are the best response to those who imposed a siege on us and fought against us,” Haniyeh said. Today the Palestinian nation says that resistance is their choice… We say to the prisoners in Israeli jails that your release is our responsibility and our priority. It will not be long before we free you.”

If the 5000 animals being hosted in Israel were given the same courtesies Hamas gives to its prisoners, the only questions relating to their eventual fate would be as to their carcasses.

Israel should never risk Jewish lives in any Gaza operation. If a suspected terrorist is located in Gaza, take out the house or block or a square mile.

I assume Israel knew about the Rally beforehand, or at least as it was happening; why wasn’t this piece of manure neutralized??? Does he not qualify as a legitimate enemy combatant??? A murderer with blood on his hands??? What am I missing here? Is he working for the Israelis? Why would Israel let this maggot live? Can someone enlighten me?

Better if Israel would learn from China, mass rallies in Gaza would be a non starter, since China has all one million potential terrorists, and their leaders in reeducation camps, to turn them in to law abiding citizens, which may take a lifetime, but the Chinese government is in no rush, and they take no chances, which accounts for just about zero acts of terrorism in China over the last decade. If a terrorist dare tries a devilish act, China holds his whole town accountable! If Haniya would make such statements in China, he would be beheaded before finishing his statement.

    To Heshy Emes:
He was wounded way back when Sheik Yassin was assassinated about 20 years ago but came out of it. Why they didn’t finish the job.
