President Trump took to Twitter late Monday night to chide Sweden’s Greta Thunberg about her passionate plea to stop climate change.
Sixteen young activists including Sweden’s Greta Thunberg have filed a formal U.N. complaint about governments’ lack of action on climate.
In Monday’s complaint, filed with the U.N. group that protects children’s rights, the youths from a dozen countries and ranging in ages from 8 to 17, contend their rights are being violated not just because of severe weather, but also because of lack of food and water and an increase in refugees.

The UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child allows youth or adults to directly appeal to the United Nations if they feel a country is violating children’s rights.
The activists filed the complaint as world leaders met at a climate summit sponsored by the United Nations.

I actually agree somewhat with the climate change theory. I don’t see it being different than what scientists tell us about smoking. We know smoking is dangerous because scientists tell us it is. We get vaccinated because scientists tell us we should. Why do we negate their findings on climate change or ozone depletion? My problem is, first of all, this girl sounds like a chuspadika punk. Who does she think she is screaming “How dare you.” and “We won’t let you get away with this.” Second, once she talks about eco-systems failing she is putting animals and trees before humans. This is where I disagree with the environmentalists. The world was created for humans. (See Rashi at the end of Parshas Berashis, why did the animals die in the Mabul? If there are no people their is no need for animals.)
