Missing IDF Soldier Found Dead Near His Home

KFAR SABA, Israel (VosIzNeias) — Missing IDF soldier Eliezer Ashkenazi has been found dead near his home in Kfar Saba. The IDF spokesman confirmed that Ashkenazi had been found dead but did not add details regarding the circumstances of his death. The soldier was found by volunteers including the Israeli dog trackers unit as well as members of ZAKA.

Yesterday police had asked the public’s assistance in locating Ashkenazi, who had last been seen near his house in Kfar Saba wearing IDF uniform on Sunday morning.
