NEW YORK (JTA) — A forensic pathologist hired by the family of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein says the autopsy “points to homicide rather than suicide.”

Dr. Michael Baden told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday morning that the evidence suggests that Epstein, a convicted sex offender who was facing new sex trafficking charges for allegedly abusing dozens of minor girls, was strangled to death. Baden, 85, observed the autopsy.

Dr. Baden is an American physician and board-certified forensic pathologist known for his work investigating high-profile deaths and as the host of HBO’s Autopsy. Baden was the chief medical examiner of the City of New York from 1978 to 1979. He was chairman of the House Select Committee on Assassinations’ Forensic Pathology Panel that investigated the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The official cause of Epstein’s death was suicide.

Epstein, 66, was found in his jail cell early on Aug. 10 at the Metropolitan Correction Center in Manhattan. An unnamed official told The Washington Post that he hanged himself with a bed sheet attached to the top of a bunk bed.

Baden cited the specific fractures on Epstein’s neck, saying they are unusual in hangings by suicide and more common in death by strangulation. He also said there were hemorrhages in Epstein’s eyes that were common in homicidal strangulation and uncommon, though not unheard of, in suicidal hangings.

His death spawned online conspiracy theories, including that Epstein was killed to keep him from incriminating others.

Two weeks before his death, Epstein was found unconscious in his cell with bruises to his neck and was placed on suicide watch.

Baden told Fox that his independent investigation was not complete.

The FBI and the Justice Department are investigating how mistakes made by Bureau of Prisons personnel may have contributed to Epstein’s death, including taking him off suicide watch.

Epstein was set to face trial next year for alleged offenses in New York and Florida, which include paying and coercing girls as young as 14 into performing sexual acts.

Don’t tell anyone but my secret sources in the administration informed me that Trump was going to arrange for the Epstein suicide but someone from the deep state beat him too it. Epstein had damning evidence on Trump as well as several of his opponents. He was an equal opportunity purveyor of young girls.

Anything that ambulance chaser, Dr. Michael Baden gets involved with, should be discounted. He looks to get involved in controversial cases, and receives very high fees while doing so. For example, in 2004, two retired Jewish salesman from New York City, who were living in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, area, became involved in an altercation at a movie theater. The older shorter man in his 70’s went to a movie theater to buy tickets for himself and his wife. Evidently, he misunderstood how much the price was, and asked the cashier to repeat the price. All of a sudden, some nasty, Yiddisha yentah in back of him, (also a Senior citizen) made some sarcastic remark, very loudly, which was demeaning to him, in front of everybody, as it made him look like he couldn’t calculate properly. At that point, the elderly gentlemen stated “Oh, Shut-up”, to the yentah. I don’t blame him for doing so, as the woman in back should have minded her business, and not demeaned and humiliated him. At that point, the yentah’s husband, who was 69 years old charged at the older man, like a lunatic. People tried to physically restrain him, but he broke free, and violently punched the other person. The older Senior citizen, who was about 72 years old, fell backward, and smashed his head on the concrete sidewalk. He went into a coma, and died. The person who did the punching, was charged with manslaughter, and faced 20 years in prison. His idiotic defense, was that he was defending his wife. Who does everyone on VIN think that the family got to defend that violent piece of garbage? It was no other than Dr. Michael Baden, the same person, who is sticking his nose into the Jeffrey Epstein case. Baden stated that based on an autopsy of the victim, his death was not caused by the fall, as a result of the punch, but as a result “of a preexisting tumor on his brain, which caused his death”. I never thought that the jury would buy that garbage. All of them, with the exception of one holdout voted to convict. Because of that one holdout, perhaps influenced by Baden, there was a hung jury. The cowardly attacker never waited for a retrial, but opted to plead guilty to a lesser charge, and only received six months in prison, plus seven years probation, for killing another human being! Thanks, Dr. Baden, for perverting the wheels of justice!
