Bloomberg is rolling out “United for Mike,” the name for his Jewish campaign, at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center in Miami on Sunday afternoon.
Bloomberg, who is Jewish, in November named Abigail Pogrebin, an author who has written on Jewish issues, as his Jewish outreach director.
Usually, Jewish outreach has a different connotation.

Bloomberg is a narcissist and a phony. I have to laugh that he is suddenly discovering his Jewish roots, when it suits him politically. He didn’t have any rachmonos to the Chassidim in Boro Park, in 2006, when New York’s “finest’, beat and shoved the residents, including pulling the beard out of a frum Jew, and using other heavy handed tactics, including shoving women, and innocent pedestrians. He didn’t even come to the scene of the disorders. In the past, there was another Mayor who did just that, but not this little weasel and snake!
There are serious questions if Bloomberg is Halachicly Jewish. There are people who claim Mike was adopted as an infant and his real Mother was not a Jew. Does anyone have more information?
