The government announced that in Chareidi schools, students in grades 7-8 as well as those in Yeshiva Ketana (parallel to grades 9-11) will head back to the classroom on Sunday instead of the younger grades, as well as “minor seminaries,” without defining the parameters.

The remainder of students are expected to go back to school by June 1, and are to continue with remote learning in the meantime. Special education classes will be fully resumed and provisions will be made for children deemed to be at-risk, the Prime Minister’s Office said, adding that school will not be compulsory, with the exception of matriculation exams.

In the meantime various municipalities, including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Beersheva and Tzfat have announced that they will not open schools Sunday, citing the fact that they are not yet prepared for the risks involved and the schools have not adequately been disinfected.

The USA and Ny Nj needs to do the same. We need to Stop this craziness. Let’s start acting rational .

Let’s wiegh all this . Nothing and I repeat nothing can reopen without kids in school . Us parents cannot do a thing with kids climbing our walks while fighting with them to do their school work.
Kids are our future .
Kids with no structure are dangerous both mentally and physically.

Now let’s analyze the risks ,

1)Studies just released state that kids under ten do not transport the disease to others
2) The curve is down for 3 weeks +
3)There is ample testing available. Yes every urgent care is handing it out like water ( water these days are a hot item but you get my point)
4) Only those under 60 would be exposed. Any educator over 60 would be banned
5) we almost all had it . 75% of frum jews had it . Yes who knows if it can come back, but risk is lower

As a side note most kids are not abiding by social distance rules anyhow . As the weather gets nice and kids already climbed the walls for a month it’s unstoppable .

So i laid out just how crucial school is to restart anything . I also clearly lays out how very very low the risk is .
Now can we end this insanity now ? Enough is enough . Stop this paranoia and open schools

Ps I hope non Jewish parents rebel and resist these crazy lock down rules . I hope there is massive social disobedience to end the craziness . Unfortunately us Yiden can not disobey laws in golus.

First of all, Israel adhered to guidelines much more strictly all along. You previously said Israel is nbeing overly strict and where has it gotten them. This is where it’s gotten them. They have sufficient testing and ocntact tracing.

As to your statement about children under 10, an expert was on Tucker Carlson last night and debunked that.
