JERUSALEM (AP)- – An Israeli government official said Israel “had nothing to do” with a massive explosion that rocked Beirut on Tuesday, flattening much of the port, damaging buildings across the capital and sending a giant mushroom cloud into the sky.

He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter with the media. Israeli officials usually do not comment on “foreign reports.”

The blast was stunning even for a city that has seen civil war, suicide bombings and bombardment by Israel. It could be heard and felt as far away as Cyprus, more than 200 kilometers (180 miles) across the Mediterranean.

The health minister said more than 25 people were killed and over 2,500 injured.the blast.

Except that obviously they had everything to do with it. Things are getting hot in the ME. What come next? Maybe (and what do I know?) they feel they have to clean up the Iran mess while they are certain Trump is in office (nobody can know if he will win or lose).

Israeli Govt and hospitals in Israel have already offered assistance. Lebanon’s govt has admitted that tons of ammonium nitrate explosive chemical were stored in the Port and blew up. They were no doubt stored there by terror hezbollah group, and meant to kill Jews.
