JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The second wave of coronavirus in Israel, which is slowly regressing, caused numerous infections in yeshivas. However there were a number of yeshivas, including the Jerusalem-based Chevron yeshiva and Or Yisrael in Petach Tikva, which maintained strict capsules, not allowing students to leave the yeshiva for any reason for long periods of time and requiring testing before they returned to the yeshiva. These yeshivas have continued their regimen during the winter zman (period) and at Chevron yeshiva, students cannot visit their homes for 50 days.
