It is an incredible story that the author is still trying to verify.  It does appear in an ArtScroll book and was also part of the words of Chizuk given by Rabbi Dovid Frischman, a menahel at Yeshiva Darchei Torah, to his talmidim.

It involves the B’Roshi transportation company and a tragic accident that occurred in Elul of 1963.  Three Yeshiva students were tragically killed in an accident involving a truck,  Their names were Yitzchok Neustadt z”l, Binyomin Friedman z”l, and Mordechai Falk z”l.

It involved a dream, and a Kallah, Dvorah Bas Shimon from Argentina, and a lost holocaust survivor – who was found.  It also involves the Mitzvah of Shnayim Mikrah v’Echad Targum.

Surely if it is in an Artscroll story book it is 100% true, correct, right? No. Firstly, it is in a book by a Hasidic novelist (see author info at Artscroll website). That right away raises questions. And it was allegedly investigated by the Hasidic preacher Reb Fischel Schachter. That doesn’t help its credibility. It is well known, that some people, but especially Hasidim, take liberties with “inspirational stories”, embellishing them, if not creating them entirely from whole cloth.

“It is an incredible story that the author is still trying to verify. ”

I agree, it is incredible. That is, in the original meaning of the word, in-credible (not credible). Too fantastic to be believed.
