Meeting behind closed doors for less than 20 minutes, GOP lawmakers used a voice vote to remove Cheney, R-Wyo., from the party’s No. 3 House position, a jarring turnabout to what’s been her fast-rising career within the party.
She has been Congress’ highest-ranking Republican woman and a daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, and her demotion was the latest evidence that challenging Trump can be career-threatening.
Cheney is more conservative than Stefanik. The GOPQ is no longer a conservative party. It is a party that demands fealty to the dear leader above all else. Stefanik is one of the most liberal republican members of congress but she is loyal to the dear leader and as such, she is the new face of the GOPQ of Matt Goetz, Paul Gosar, and Majorie Taylor-Greene. All critics of the dear leader are canceled and censured by the minions of the dear leader who are as guilty of cancel culture as their progressive counterparts.
There is no Republican Party. Its only a personality kult of Trump. Independents are running to the Dems over this purge.
It’s President 45 and his base that was at odds with the historical Republican party
…and the Trump circus continues.
GOPQ is the party of hypocrites and cancel culture. Cheney is demoted for having the courage to speak the truth. The rest of the GOPQ leadership are a bunch of cowards. Trump lost the popular vote twice and cost the GOPQ the House and Senate but apparently, the GOPQ isn’t yet tired of all the losing.
If you are in the top three leadership and you don’t represent your constituents or party then why are you there
Good riddance.
all so called Republicans who dont support Trump need to be outsed.
