The rally will feature Israeli actress and author Noa Tishby; Elisha Wiesel, son of the late Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel; and Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Groups from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and other major metropolitan areas plan to attend the 1 p.m. event on the west side of Capitol Hill. Free busing is being provided from several East Coast cities.

“As anti-Semitic attacks have become more frequent without commensurate responses from elected officials or other leaders, concern in the Jewish community and among our allies has reached a fever pitch,” said Melissa Landa, director of Alliance for Israel, which is spearheading the rally. “In my role as the director of a grassroots organization, I am contacted by people all over the country sharing their experiences with anti-Semitism and their frustrations that not enough is being done. So I decided to do something about it and call for a rally.”

She added that the Sunday gathering “represents a broad coalition of organizations that oppose anti-Semitism—crossing religious, racial, political and denominational boundaries, bringing together all who want their voices to be heard in the nation’s capital.”

Among the co-sponsors are the Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish Committee, B’nai Brith International, Jewish National Fund, Hadassah, Israel Forever Foundation, the Jewish Federation of North America, StandWithUs, World Jewish Congress of North America, Birthright Israel and the Combat Antisemitism Movement.

The Orthodox Union, Rabbinical Assembly, United Synagogues of Conservative Judaism, Union for Reform Judaism and dozens of other organizations are also lending their support.

“Out of the mouth of babes and suckling You have founded strength to counter Your enemies” Tehillim 8:3. Jewish children need to get a Torah education all year long. Bnei Noach need to be taught the sheva mitzvos. More children, both Jewish and non-Jewish need to be born.
Protests won’t get rid of anti-semitism. More good in the world will.

No fear?? We absolutely need yiras Shomayim and yiras cheit!

As many people say on שבת מברכים החודש, beseeching the Creator for חיים שיש בהם יראת שמים ויראת חטא.

Fear of Heaven and sin is most important in Jewish life.

Jews are rallying in solidarity with the Jewish people? So they are rallying in solidarity with themselves? Nice, but I don’t see the big chiddush, novelty of that.

We need to know what Daas Torah is about things like this. What do the gedolei Yisroel say?  We need to keep in mind that the tachlis of Yidden is not to protest anti-Semitism and make Holocaust memorials. The tachlis is Torah and mitzvos.

The ADL run by an obama sycophant has been covering up for leftwing democrat party Jew hatred for years while lying about Republicans.

Reb Avigdor Miller used to say, Hashem Tzilcho, meaning, God is your shadow. A shadow follows what the person does.
If we would teach our children and Bochrum to have Sincere respect, empathy, and caring for Non-Yidden, HKB”H will Never-Again instill any hatred into the Non –Yidden, against us.
Those that want to say that the anti-antisemitism is because we feel too close to the Non-jews, are 100% wrong.

They would probably accomplish a lot more in fighting antisemitism if they would publicly dissociate Jews from the Zionists.

They could point out that Zionism is diametrically opposed to Judaism, and that the Zionists and their Zionist State of Israel do not represent Jews.

Instead, they will, of course, bow down and praise their idol of Zionism and its State, even though that Zionist movement and its State have been the greatest cause of Antisemitism for a century (including the Zionists’ numerous anti-Jewish acts and intentional inaction during the Holocaust).

How sad.

Will the same 8 busloads of Boro Park Yidden who supported Trump’s arrempted destruction of American Democracy on Jan 6 be going down? Did those Yidden support his ‘good people’ in Charlottesville at their torch march? That busride should be interesting.
