FLATBUSH (VINnews) — A Jewish man was visciously attacked and left bloodied by two thugs, while heading to Shul on Friday morning.
The incident occurred Friday mornig at approximately 5:30 AM on New York Ave between Avenue J and Avenue K.
Video shows the man walking on the sidewalk, while a thug walks alongside him, appearing engaging with him. Another thug walks in the street alongside the two of them. Suddenly, the one standing next to the man starts visciously striking the man with his hands and feet. Immediately the other one joins in, and together they mercilessly pummel the man on the sidewalk.
Eventually they stop, and the man manages to escape, but the two thugs leave with his Tefilin.
Bloodstains are left on the sidewalke where the attack occurred.
Flatbush Shomrim responded immediately, and recovered the Tefilin, which were scattered around the street. For some reason, the Talis remained missing.
The suspects are still at large. Flatbush Shomrim is offering a $1,000 reward for info leading to arrests.
