‘People want to push people into trains, it’s bad out here – that ain’t gonna happen to me,’ Wanda Vela told TikTok viewers on Monday in the now viral video as she wrapped a bike lock around a pole on the platform and her midsection, securing it with a key.
‘I got my own chain and this what I do – I wait for the train like this and if the train don’t come, I stay right here. Ain’t nobody pushing me.’
Her video has already been viewed more than 2 million times on TikTok and many New Yorkers found Vela’s unorthodox safety advice relatable.

Maybe she should demonstrate how one can leave NY and it’s rising violence for a state that cares less about its criminals and more about its upstanding citizens
While it may save her from being pushed in front of a train, unfortunately there are increased number of slashings on the subway. This would only make it worse in that situation.
Let the Democrat NYC pols headed by DePlatzio ride the subways unlocked.
What she needs also is a full body armor so no one hits her over the head or stabs her.
is NYC that bad that this lady has to take such measures or is she a bit over?
