In a scathing rebuke, the Rosh Yeshiva insisted that the homes that Border Police have demolished have been in use for many months, and were not erected this week as the government claims. In addition, the Yeshiva says that the government is backstabbing local residents, and are rewarding terrorists.

The Yeshiva released a sharply-worded statement on Friday, saying “Two families in homes demolished today have lived here for a long time, about ten months. As a reward to the terrorists, [the government] sent the Border Police to demolish and lie about it. We have been backstabbed by the demolition, and the lies are twisting [the blade].”

To prove that the homes existed before this week, the yeshiva released a video of MK Yom Tov Kalfon’s visit about three weeks ago to a home that was destroyed Friday morning.

According to a report in Kikar Shabbos, The Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Elishama Hacohen, spoke very passionately, saying “I received a call this morning from someone in distress that the Border Police were demolishing structures that have been in Chomesh a long time. I was shocked. Not even 24 hours passed since the shiva of the Dimentman family, and just last night we had the widow in our home, to see if she can possibly continue to lead a normal life. And this morning we need to give her the news that they are stabbing her in the back along with her dear husband who was murdered in Chomesh last week.”

The Rosh Yeshiva continued, “The government has no patience or sensitivity, first thing in the morning they demolish facilities belonging to the yeshiva and local families which have existed for a long time. We are shocked and demand that the Prime Minister get involved with all his might and prevent this moral injustice and slaughter.”

On Thursday a massive rally of about 15,000 people took place in Chomesh in memory of Yehuda Dimentman. Gatherers demanded that the yeshiva be legalized and the settlement be reestablished. Joining the family, the widow and her young son, many Roshei Yeshiva participated with students, as well as public figures, settlers, and MKs who came to support the family and their cause.

Chomesh is one of four northern Shomron settlements that the IDF destroyed as part of the 2005 Gaza Disengagement plan. The High Court has ruled that it is private Palestinian property.

The fat cat lefty secular politicians don’t care about their jewish citizens. They only care about staying in power. The settlers are foolish for joining the Israeli army as it is only used by politicians where they lock up soldiers who defend themselves against Arab terrorists. Let the thousands of settlers stop sending their kids to the army like the chareidim and make a revolution. Vote either for chareidi parties or Ben Gevirs party. All the others from left to right are corrupt.

All these comments about corrupt politicians on all sides of the aisle are surprising
There’s a reason that
1) we say every single day אל תבטחו בנדיבים בבן אדם שאין לו תשועה
2) there’s a famous expression “power corrupts”
3) there’s another famous expression “the road to hell is paved with Good intentions”

Someone can promise to be the most honest person in power but once he actually gets the power things can change

There’s a story of a man who was going to be appointed as a king but he was very humble and didn’t want the power and didn’t feel worthy of it so he hid until they found him and made him the king but once he got the feeling of power he spent years trying to kill his own son-in-law who he thought was trying to take the power away from him… that man was greater and smarter then any politician, or rabbi alive today and even he couldn’t withstand the test of power that he originally didn’t even want.
