JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A month after the terrible accident which took the lives of both of his children and critically injured both him and his wife, Yaniv Me’oded is back on his feet. Me’oded was presumed dead at the scene but medics miraculously managed to resuscitate him and his wife Hodaya, although she remains in serious condition and is still sedated and respirated. Hodaya had been pregnant but doctors did not succeed in saving her fetus.

In a weak voice, Me’oded, who has just sat shiva for his children, six-year-old Halleli and three-year-old Tov Roi, says that the prayers of Am Yisrael aided his recovery. “The doctor who first saw me said ‘Leave him, he’s dead’, but thanks to your prayers and Hashem’s help and the help of the dedicated staff, I am standing on my feet. I ask that you pray for my wife, Hodaya Ayelet Hashachar bat Esther, who still needs a miracle to recover.”
