About 150 Israelis were scheduled to travel on Israeli airline Arkia. However as they were checking in, they were notified of the cancellation, due to the pilot falling ill.
According to the report, passengers said that the airline did a poor job of updating them, and gave them little guidance on a contingency plan. In addition, no airline representative met them at the airport.
Arkia released the following statement, as reported by Israeli media: “Arkia flight 076 from Grenoble, that was supposed to depart in the afternoon, was postponed until tomorrow at 1:00 p.m., after the pilot did not feel well before the plane took off for Israel. Upon receiving notice, Arkia began arranging accommodations in hotels for the passengers and a replacement team will be flown in tomorrow morning to bring the passengers home.”
Grenoble is a nice town in the Alps, so go with the flow, and enjoy 1 extra day in this Alpine town.

This is happening a lot in the US with pilots who’ve taken the c19 shot.
