JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Despite the landmark ruling of Jerusalem Magistrate Court judge Tziyon Saharai permitting Jews to worship and say Shema Yisrael on Temple Mount, police chose to ignore or not to implement the court’s ruling Monday morning.

A number of people requested to enter Temple Mount wearing Talis and Tefillin in order to be able to worship at the holy site. Police told them to remove their Talis and Tefillin before ascending to Temple Mount.

Moreover, after the group ascended to Temple Mount, police detained one of the members for investigation after he prostrated himself as is halachically required on Temple Mount. The police claimed that such behavior could be a “violation of public order” despite the judicial ruling specifically stating that this is not the case. However police did permit some people to prostrate in other parts of Temple Mount and it is possible that there are areas deemed more sensitive for public worship than others.

MK Itamar Ben-Gvir wrote that “I am concerned for the fate of democracy! Shockingly, the police do not respect the decision of the court, which ruled that Jews can pray on Temple Mount and saying Shema and worshiping are not a crime. The police are transmitting a message of anarchy and encouraging our youth not to abide by judicial rulings.”

Why did VIN delete the articles about Ger, and then repost it with all the comments removed as well as disabling comments? Who are you afraid of? How much did Sol Werdyger pay you?

Lol. Cry me a river! Ben-gvir is afraid for democracy. When he will respect court rulings that don’t go his way I’ll worry about respecting court rulings he does like. This rasha needs to be locked away for good.
