Ms. Vernikov asked point blank whether she would denounce BDS. The official, in a defiant and impatient tone, replied: “We think it’s wrong, we don’t believe in it, and to us that is denouncing it.”
But for some reason, she would not directly say, “Yes we denounce BDS.” Strange.
Late last month, CUNY Law professors voted unanimously to endorse the BDS movement after the student government passed a similar resolution last year.
Councilwoman Vernikov, a Ukrainian-born Jewish Republican, pulled the funding last week after claiming that professors were engaging in antisemitism.
Our “Jewish ” Councilwoman !!!
Of course they dont denounce tehy suppor it and think it doesnt go far enough, universities are ground zero for the anti Israel terrorist supporting left the democratic party base Jew hating sc7m the lot of them.
The above headline and story does not discuss the context of the event in which this questioning ocurred. Also, it does not do justice to the major events of this hearing. Please read other media (Jewish) and the NY Post for more information about CUNY and anti-semitism on campusses.
What do you expect from a CLEARLY unqualified person? Plus the chancellor is a Latino
For every BDS action , hundreds of Arabs in liberated territories lose their jobs. Israel has B’H grown despite it.
