WASHINGTON (Yaakov M / VINnews) — Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and owner of the left-leaning Washington Post, blasted President Biden over high gas prices.

Biden on Twitter urged gas stations and people setting prices at the pump to bring down prices. He insinuated that they are engaging in price gouging, telling them to charge prices that “reflect the cost you’re paying”.

In response, Bezos accused Biden of misleading the country or not understanding economics (or perhaps both).

He tweeted: Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics.
