This time, the victim was Breaking911, a news outlet that boasts a Twitter following of close to 1 million, including many popular conservative pundits and politicians. The leftist platform’s official reason for the ban – “ban evasion”. This was particularly bizarre, as the account had never been banned before, and operates no other accounts.
The reaction on Twitter came immediately after. The left-wing celebrated, while the right-wing protested the unfair and obviously biased censorship. Most notably, the popular Twitter account Libs Of TikTok called out Twitter for their actions.

The pressure campaign worked, as just a short while later, Twitter restored the account which had been “permanently” suspended.
It goes without saying that this is a highly unusual step for Twitter in this day and age.
A rare win for conservatives against the social media giant that seems to detest anyone who is not woke.
Perhaps this speaks to the influence Elon Musk has on the Twitter decision makers while they continue to iron out the terms of their upcoming business deal. If so, perhaps better days are ahead for free speech and open dialogue.
Whether Twitter caved into pressure on its own, or Elon Musk got personally involved–the platform which is notorious for censoring people it disagrees with, has succumbed, a rare win for conservatives.

Stop being so hooked on Twiter and stop complaining! Cant u live your lives without it?
You know, I may be right-wing on the issue of speech, but at the end of the day, Twitter is a private company that people use out of free choice. They have the right to make up whatever rules they want for anyone who “walks into their building.” Once you’re “inside the building,” you have to follow the rules no matter how stupid and wrong they are.
If Twitter were telling you what you can or cannot do or say “OUTSIDE the building,” now, that would REALLY be an issue of free speech vs. censorship. But here, it’s not.
If you don’t like it, just use a different Twitter, albeit smaller, like Parler, Gettr or Truth Social–or start your own and compete with Twitter. No one is forcing you to use Twitter. They are not the government.
So someone is running his business as he thinks it ought to be run. Is this news?
You are free to use all the right wing “free speech” platforms rife with white nationalism, racism and anti-Semitism. Hope you enjoy the platforms that praise Nazi’s and attack Jews.
It isn’t that hard to follow the rules. Except it is a means of exposure if you intentionally break the rules so as to get banned. Then advertise one’s ban to make money.
If I went on to Truth Social and said Trump lost because his daughter is too goyish I would be banned. And rightfully so since Truth Social’s terms of service prohibit insulting Trump or his family.
