I was there, as my son is a counselor at HASC. The pure nefoshos of these campers have to be seen to be believed.
The Nikolsburger Rebbe did a great chessed by coming to Camp HASC as do all the visitors and performers. One of my son’s had him as a rebbe years ago in Chaim Berlin.
I didnt stop crying all day, this past Sunday. To see the kindness and unity from so many different walks of life, was so special. The Nikolsberg brought it all together by explaining that serving hashem with love and each one of us have a spark within us.. The world needs more like him – Mi Kaamcha Yisroel!!
Let’s hear it for Rebbe Judah Mischel, the Rebbe of Camp HASC, for making it into a leading center of Neo-Chasidus for the Modern Orthodox community.
