WASHINGTON (Yaakov M / VINnews) — A group of President Trump’s closest supporters attempted to secretly undermine and replace Jared Kushner, and they chose Shabbos to do so, in order to avoid Trump’s orthodox Jewish son-in-law.

The group, led by Steve Bannon, was angered by Kushner’s control of the 2020 reelection campaign. They chose a Saturday to carry out a “coup d’état” because Kushner would not be at the White House to spot them, according to trade advisor Peter Navarro.

“Whenever Donald J. Trump wanted to meet with somebody beyond the prying eyes of Kushner, he always scheduled the meet on Saturday,” Navarro writes in “Taking Back Trump’s America: Why We Lost the White House and How We’ll Win It Back.” “Saturday is the Jewish Shabbat or Sabbath, and the Boss knew Kushner would be home, offline and off the grid.”

Bannon, who had a history of clashing with Kushner, wanted to take over what he viewed as a campaign in trouble, but only on condition that Jared was out of the picture.

“The plan was simple,” Navarro wrote in a chapter entitled “Shabbat Shalom and Sayonara.” Trump had to be told “in no uncertain terms that he was going to lose the election unless he handed the helm over to a more experienced operative.”

The book excerpt was first reported in The Forward.

Navarro said that he and Bannon joined a high-profile Trump donor to carry out the sabotage campaign. According to the memoir, Trump agreed that Kushner had to be replaced with Bannon, but did not want to ask himself, due to potential “‘family troubles’ if Trump himself had to deliver the bad news to his son-in-law and the father of his grandchildren,” Navarro writes.

However according to Navarro, Kushner resisted the movement to overthrow him and remained in charge.

In his own recent book, Kushner blasted Bannon, who repeatedly undermined him in the White House.

“Bannon single-handedly caused more problems for me than anyone else in my time in Washington,” Kushner wrote. “He probably leaked and lied about me more than everyone else combined. He played dirty and dragged me into the mud of the Russia investigation.”

Even though you failed to put a real byline on the story, where you lifted it from, there is one good part about it.

“Saturday is the Jewish Shabbat or Sabbath, and the Boss knew Kushner would be home, offline and off the grid.”

I think 99% of whatever else is in here, is a bunch of horse manure.

Bannon runs a neo-fascist leadership school in Italy, in a former Monastery. Being against frum Kushner would be like mother’s lard to him.
