NEW YORK (VINnews) — When we think about fashion, what comes to mind is the various designers whose style of clothing we admire. We think about the psychology of fashion, and what one’s choice of clothes say about them. We think of the latest trends, that we either love or hate. We even think about how fast fashion has changed the way we look at clothes. But the one thing most people do not associate fashion with is faith.
We have a special guest with us who has taken the fashion world by her own storm.
Baila Sebrow from The Definitive Rap show sat down with Tobi Rubinstein, author of “The House Of Faith and Fashion; What My Wardrobe Taught Me About G-d.
Tobi explains what faith has to do with fashion, and what it teaches about G-d.
She discussed modesty on the fashion runways. It’s not only Jewish women who require the modest clothing and still be stylishly fashionable, but we are also seeing Muslim women purchasing gorgeous modest outfits.
Tobi discussed where her drive and inspirations are coming from, and about the misconceptions of fashion and modesty.
