TEXAS (Yaakov M / VINnews) — This past week, Hillary Clinton compared Trump supporters to Nazis, and Trump himself to Hitler.

Her absurd comparison was based on the fact that at a recent Trump rally, attendees committed the grievous sin of pointing their fingers in the air.

Speaking at a festival in Texas on Friday, a bitter Hillary said that she used to wonder why people in the 1930s and 40s were so enthralled with Adolf Hitler.

Clinton strongly implied that a similar phenomenon was happening with Trump, because he is strong and charismatic and, like at Hitler rallies, his supporters raise their arms in the air while he “rants and raves”.

As was reported on Daily Wire, Clinton said: “I remember as a young student, you know, trying to figure out, how people get basically drawn in by Hitler. How did that happen? I’d watch newsreels and I’d see this guy standing up there ranting and raving, and people shouting and raising their arms. I thought, ‘What’s happened to these people?’”

“You saw the rally in Ohio the other night,” Clinton continued. “Trump is there ranting and raving for more than an hour, and you have these rows of young men with their arms raised. I thought, ‘What is going on?’ So there is a real pressure, and I think it is fair to say we’re in a struggle between democracy and autocracy.”

Clinton was referring to a “Save America” Rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on September 17. At one point as he was speaking with dramatic background music playing, supporters pointed upward with their index fingers.

Clinton is not the only Trump-hater to make the absurd comparison. Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin said that Trump supporters pointing in the air “bore an uncanny resemblance to the infamous Nazi salute.” Multiple other left-wingers also compared the rally attendees to Nazi supporters on Twitter.

Clinton’s vicious hate-filled rhetoric is reminiscent of President Biden’s recent attack against “MAGA Republicans.”

At an event in Rockville, Maryland, in August, Biden said that the ideology of Trump and MAGA resembles fascism. “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of extreme MAGA philosophy,” Biden said. “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”

At a Wisconsin rally several weeks ago, Biden said, “MAGA Republicans in Congress have chosen to go backwards, full of anger, violence, hate and division.”
