“…my LIFE was endangered. I got a tip that flooding was going to get worse. This water was shallow. I saw my neighbor get picked up by national guard. They know someone in emergency management. Now I have heard to get out of my city is 1.5 hour wait just to get on interstate its too crazy.”
This video makes no sense.
The stereotype plaid owner attempting a publicity stunt.
As someone from Florida, who has driven through flood waters plenty of times – there is nothing special here – I’m not sure, maybe it’s the fact that a battery opporated car didn’t break due to water? No clue, but it’s shallow water, the rule is, you drive without stopping and it essentially pushes the water to the sides of your car. If you stop, ur car engine will flood, so you need to keep driving. This is standard.
Cars that were capable of traveling thru ester have been around since the sixties. And yes this guy lucked out. Able to get around even flooded areas. So his expensive toy paid off
The water appears to be less than a foot deep and all 4 tires on the ground. There was the Amphicar an amphibious automobile made in Germany and marketed in America during the 1960’s. If they are still manufactured, Floridians would be the ideal people to market to. Used ones are collectable and sell for over $65,000.
