Zeldin Defends Yeshivas in Tweet to NY Times…And He’s Not Even a Candidate!

NEW YORK (Yaakov M / VINnews) — Congressman Lee Zeldin’s staunch support of yeshiva education appears to be genuine, and not just political (in case we had any doubts.)

Zeldin mockingly replied to a tweet from a reporter at the NY Times, asking people who attended yeshivas to share their experiences for possible inclusion in an upcoming story.

In response, Zeldin, who is not even running for office right now, replied:

I’ll help…

1. Yeshivas proudly teach right from wrong.

2. Their students have very high attendance rates.

3. Many students continue their education.

4. Yeshiva graduates live law-abiding lives almost entirely.

Looking forward to you including that in your hit piece!

One other interesting observation made by a Twitter user, is that the Times changed its initial request. Several weeks ago, the paper asked for stories from “Hasidic” yeshivas. Now it has expanded its topic for a future hit piece to include education in “other orthodox Jewish communities” as well.

The tweet also claims that it wants to share “all perspectives” in its upcoming hit piece.

Hard to believe.

‘”And He’s Not Even a Candidate!” Really? He is as much a candidate today as he was two weeks ago. He just has a long time horizon. Do be such a bunch of idiotic suckers. He loves your yeshivas for as long as it gets your votes.

Zeldin never had any chance in new york. Enjoy you rigged elections!
Do you even know why the gezeira from the dept of Ed?? The yeshivishe rabbis supported Zeldin because of this gezeira. But you know why the gezeira? It is because of TOEIVA laws enshrined in the rights of the State of NY.

And now, woe! TOEIVA is enshrined at the Fed level.
This seals the decree for the US.

Last chance to take to the streets and take a stand.

the nyt has been systematically anti semitic for 80+ years- hiding the holcaust, sontag, beinart, friedman, kingsley, noa feldman’s hit piece, the “Palestinian on the Temple mount with the gas station is the back, anti semitic cartoons with bibi leading goyish dog trump that belong in the shturmer, lying about the crown hts pogrom that was exposed by their own writer, halbersam, they even had an editorial that condemned the capture of eichman ym”sh because how dare those jewboys violate argetina’s sovereignty etc . yeah I’m sure anti-frum [and yes, self hating anti semitic] dog whister eliza shapiro will publish a very far article about yeshivos

Gotta love this!

All those posters yelling about the chasidim and their horrible English curriculum (or lack thereof) and how the SED doesn’t mean the Yeshiva they attended where they recieved a stellar secular education….

I told you all: the same way Hitler didn’t distinguish between a shtreimel, black hat, or no hat, the NYT and the SED don’t either. They simply hate klal Yisroel because we are Hashem’s children; nothing new. Stop blaming other Yidden for anti semitism. (Don’t you laugh at the Rform movement when they blame the orthodox for anti semitism?)

We have achieved our goals despite losing. Hochul is to weak to enforce anything and they won’t mess lest she lose next time.
Furthermore, the eibshter sent the refua before the maka. He got rid of govenor antichos coumo. Coumo as we saw with covid, lets his ego get the better of him. He would try to bully us and double cross us, if it suites him. Hochul is not that bad of a rasha. And even if gg-d forbid there was another outbreak the days of yeshiva clousres are done. Charles hall can sit masked up in his basement. and kvecth about how we lost Coumo while I cheer on Desnatis who opened things up and won by 20 points
