STAMFORD (Yaakov M / VINnews) — At the Agudah Convention on Motzei Shabbos, Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zweibel, executive VP of Agudath Israel of America, appeared to condemn President Donald Trump for dining with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes and refusing to denounces their antisemitic views.

In a speech condemning antisemitism, Rabbi Zweibel observed that it comes from both the left and the right, such as white supremacists.
He then said, “A former president of the US inviting to his own home two notorious antisemites…I still have not heard him even denounce what they believe…Al Tivtechu B’nedivim…yesterday’s friend can be tomorrow’s greatest enemy.”
Trump was never “our friend.”
Our friends know who David Duke is and repudiate him immediately. Our friends don’t make stereotypical comments about Jewish money to the RJC. Our friends don’t say they want short men in yarmulkes counting their money. Our friends don’t chose to ignore antisemitic attacks by their supporters on Jewish journalists. Our friends don’t say that they were very fine people on both sides in Charlottesville and our friends don’t use expletives when describing an Israeli PM in an interview.
Sadly people fooled themselves into believing that Trump is what he wasn’t. His vile comments and actions were excused and rationalized.
Sadly it is taking these terrible events to make us recognize what was starting us in the face from day one.
This is what happens when the Aguda is run by “askonim”, and not by the Gedolim.
Why would Zweibel say such a thing? What is there to gain from this foolish comment? Trump is not a yid, and he is not treated well by many “Jewish” groups. (Including Aguda). He is still by far the best President we have had in a very long time. And he is not an antisemite.
The democrats meet with antisemites all the time. Aguda never says a word about them. They tell us time and again to vote for candidates who do not have Torah values. As long as Aguda feels they will have financial gain, they will push a candidate no matter who they meet with, or what anti-Torah policies they put into place.
Trump can meet with whoever he wants to meet with, if he thinks it will broaden his base. It’s none of Zweibel’s business.
The RINO’s and the Democrats keep on portraying Trump as a low-life. They are petrified of him. The media is happy to help them. And Aguda falls for it.
If they would concentrate on almost any Democratic politician, they would have much more garbage. Including many who are endorsed by the Aguda.
Zweibel is a fool and his comments will only cause us harm. He is not my representative. I never elected him. He is not in consultation with any Rabonim.
Mr. Zweibel, a politician is not supposed to be our friend. We are in galus. Lay low and keep your mouth shut. Askonus is good, when kept in a low profile. Stop being “metagra b’umos”!!

Kayne has millions of followers, and having Kayne’s support for Trump’s reelection could theoretically help Trump get reelected. That’s the most obvious reason that Trump agreed to the meeting.

I don’t recall AGUDA condemning bill Clinton for sitting next to farrakhan and joking with him or for schumer the toeiva marriage leader for silence in ilhan omar or kyrie irving irving in fact they honor schumer. Aguda AS USUAL pushing the Democrats despite it being illegal for them to support politics.
While antisemitism indeed comes from both the far left and the far right, it’s consistently only condemned by the center left and it’s largely ignored by the center right. This normalization of antisemitism by the right allows it to fester.
He was against Trump 2 years ago before this happened. Did he issue a hakoras hatov when Trump was president ?

Lets face it Trump is not anti-Semite or against the constitution. He is a 3 times looser (2018-20-22) Just 4 weeks ago every single Senate candidate he supported lost. In the house they were expected to win 50-60 seats .Obama lost 65 seats and Trump lost 45 in midterms.
